Course Description
It is the knowledge of grammar that makes everything about dealing with the language simpler: the difference between affect and effect, making sense of a sentence that goes on for fourteen lines, knowing where to put a semicolon rather than a comma. When you can find the subject and verb and know the difference between a phrase and a clause and can spot a verbal, manipulating the language is just easier.
Good Grammar Essentials is the answer – an eight-hour class that covers the basics of the language. We will begin with terminology, move to a discussion of the elements of the language, and end with parts of speech. If you have not had a grammar class recently – or never – join us.
This is the only time this year that we will offer this class.
Course Schedule
Each class session is two hours in length.
