About this Class
Parentheticals are the "extras" or "throwaways" of the language -- the words that can be taken out without altering meaning. They often do not add any significant substance to a thought. They come in many grammatical forms -- individual words, phrases, and clauses -- and always require some form of punctuation.
In this class, we will look at what they are and develop a better understanding of how they work. We will define them in the context of sentences and learn what punctuation is appropriate.
This class is included free with a Margie's Gurus membership.
